About the Role
You’ll report to the Project Manager and serve as the on-site leader for landscape lighting and audio installations. You’re the person who reads the plans, solves problems, keeps the crew moving, and makes sure every install meets INARAY’s standard of quality. The right person is naturally curious and achieves a high level of technical competency.
Core Responsibilities
• Lead the installation crew on-site. You set the standard, mentor your team, and become the go-to person for questions
• Interpret design plans and translate concepts into precise, quality installations
• Troubleshoot and resolve field challenges proactively, keeping projects on schedule and clients confident
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on scheduling, materials, and ordering
• Ensure job sites and vehicles are stocked with the right fixtures, tools, and materials
• Handle site preparation including Miss Utility tickets and coordination with electrical trade partners
• Maintain administrative compliance - labor hours, delivery and inventory procedures, project notes
• Communicate clearly with clients
Who You Are
You’re the kind of person who enjoys practical work but can also handle the deskwork. You take pride in work that’s built to last, you communicate well with both clients and crew, and you bring a positive attitude to every job (even the ones in tight crawl spaces).
• Experience as a crew leader, coordinator, or project manager
• Solid knowledge of transformers, wiring, landscape fixtures, bulbs, and low-voltage lighting (we will train if no direct experience)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
• Comfortable with physically demanding work which will include; ladders, trees, crawl spaces, outdoor wire/conduit burial
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Keen eye for precision and quality (you don't cut corners and you notice when something’s not quite right)
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Mechanically capable with experience using power tools
• Basic computer literacy for administrative tasks
• A genuine drive to learn and grow
