Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Chambersburg, PA (Onsite)
Salary: $80,000–$85,000 (No Relocation Assistance)
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Chambersburg, PA. This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, increasing productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Recent engineering graduates with relevant manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events and process improvements.
- Develop SOPs and Work Instructions.
- Support production planning, materials flow, quality, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with operations, vendors, and customers on equipment implementation and continuous improvement projects.
- Utilize CAD software to support manufacturing and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 1 years of manufacturing experience (steel industry experience preferred).
- Proficiency with CAD/3D modeling software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or 5S.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Steel manufacturing.
- Lasers, press brakes, machining centers, plasma cutting, or welding.
- Materials control, production control, and quality systems.
