Job Title: Material Planner Duration: Contract Location: San Jose, CA/ Milpitas, CA Job Summary:We are looking for a Material Planner to coordinate, schedule, and monitor the flow of materials and production activities to ensure timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to work closely with multiple departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities:Plan and schedule production activities according to customer orders and forecasts.Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability.Monitor inventory levels and issue work orders to maintain smooth production flow.Review MRP (Material Requirements Planning) reports and update schedules as needed.Track production progress and resolve any delays or bottlenecks.Update and maintain data in SAP or other ERP systems.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.Participate in production meetings and assist with process improvements. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).2–4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials management.Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).Strong knowledge of MRP concepts and supply chain processes.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and planning tools. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in manufacturing or electronics/semiconductor industry.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus.
