This role involves identifying and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring supplier performance, and collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to support business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for assigned product categories or services.Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on capability, quality, cost, and delivery.Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing agreements to achieve cost optimization.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and continuous improvement.Monitor supplier performance through metrics such as quality, delivery, and service.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance) to align sourcing strategies with business goals.Assess market trends, supply risks, and emerging technologies to inform sourcing strategies.Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring suppliers meet project timelines and technical requirements.Manage supplier transitions, capacity planning, and risk mitigation initiatives.
