Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Case Manager for a full-time position located on-site in Birmingham, AL. The Case Manager will work directly with clients to assess their needs, provide career coaching, and connect them with workforce programs. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed client records, offering resources and referrals, tracking client progress, assisting with job placement, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to achieve workforce development objectives.

- Proficiency in workforce development practices, including grant management and strategic planning
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with government regulations, compliance, and reporting
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain detailed records
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field (preferred, or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs is a plus
