IRD Server

The In-Room Dining Server will prepare guests’ orders, deliver, and collect food and beverage items from guest rooms following company procedures. This position has an hourly rate of $18.00 Tips.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAnswer the In-Room dining phone in a timely and courteous manner, take guests’ food and beverage orders accuratelyFollow SOP’s on placing orders with allergies and dietary restrictionsGreet guests in a courteous and friendly manner when delivering ordersMaintain accurate set up and delivery of all food and beverage orders according to Company standards and proceduresSet up and deliver all room amenities in a timely mannerRegularly walk the guest floors to retrieve in-room dining items Respond to all guest needs, questions, and issues in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfactionClean tables, re-stock tableware and other in-room dining suppliesFollow the posted opening and closing duties and side-work sheetAttend daily pre shift communication meetings & monthly departmental meetingsGenerate a good atmosphereAll other responsibilities assigned by ManagementREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSMust have experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar restaurant or food and beverage settingMust have open availability including weekends and holidaysPositive, engaging, and energetic personality Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision Very high attention to detailSensitive to cultural nuances Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in EnglishAble to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environmentExcellent people skills and the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholdersAbility to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policiesAbility to carry, push, and pull heavy loads; standing, bending and lifting will be requiredMulti-lingual is a plusTIPS and ServSafe Certified We use eVerify to confirm U.S. Employment eligibility.
