Transform engineering intent into real, high-quality parts using manual equipment. In our Philadelphia, PA shop, precision is the standard and collaboration drives continuous improvement.

You Will

  • Set up and run manual lathes, mills, and grinders to achieve precise dimensions and finishes.
  • Decipher blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute accurate machining steps.
  • Perform routine machine care to sustain reliability and extend equipment life.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances with micrometers, calipers, and other precision gauges.
  • Partner with engineers and teammates to diagnose and solve machining challenges.
  • Keep your work area orderly and safe, following all safety procedures and best practices.
  • Create and maintain clear records of setups, processes, and work completed.

What It Takes

  • High school diploma or GED; formal machining training or certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in manual/conventional machining and process fundamentals.
  • Strong competency reading technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Comfort using precision measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
  • Quality-first mindset with keen attention to detail.
  • Thrives working both independently and with a team in a fast-moving setting.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a self-starter attitude.
