What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spread Room Operator position at In-N-Out?
We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Spread Room Machine Operator in our Lancaster, Texas Spread Department. This individual is part of a team responsible for the daily production of spread, ensuring all finished product meets product quality.
General Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment and machinery for the production and packaging of spread
- Ensures all finished product meets product quality and integrity standards
- Consistently monitor and maintain quality control standards and report results and any deviations to the supervisor
- Assist with monitoring and managing inventory levels to meet production targets and ensure continuous production
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and machinery
- Perform all other job-related duties as needed.
Work Schedule Benefits:
- Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
- Starting Pay: $24.00- 26.00/HR DOE
- Must be able to work the following shifts which will rotate on a monthly basis:
- 1st Shift: 5 am – 1:30 pm (Monday – Thursday)
- 2nd Shift: 1 pm – 9:30 pm (Monday – Thursday)
- Department needs may call for weekend and holiday scheduling

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a meat facility, food processing plant, or similar warehouse experience (preferred)
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- Must be a self-starter and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management
Physical Demands/Requirements:
- Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in temperatures as low as 35 degrees Fahrenheit and stand for up to eight (10) hours on a continuous basis
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
