We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional support and personalized care to individuals in a home setting. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming etc
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
- Implement behavior management strategies and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being
- Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling to prevent injury during transfers or repositioning
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Communicate effectively with clients about their needs and preferences while respecting their rights and dignity
- Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate first aid or CPR when necessary
Experience
- Prior assisted living or long-term care experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Ability to connect with the client naturally in interesting conversations, activities etc.
- Prefer to have someone with ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely for client outings or appointments
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and vital signs monitoring
- Training in safe patient lifting practices (if needed), manual handling, first aid, and CPR is required or preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to respecting residents’ rights while providing compassionate caregiving
Pay: $1,210.00 - $1,250.00 per month
