What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adventure Assistant/Chaos Coordinator position at In Home Support Services (IHSS)?
Mom of many, looking for a dependable, compassionate sidekick to assist with our amazing little boys with disabilities. Although they are now medically stable, and thriving, they benefit greatly from extra guidance, encouragement and supervision. Duties include supervision, helping with daily routines, light housekeeping, accompanying us on family outings, encouraging independence, and being an extra set of hands for our family.
Ideal for a retired teacher, nurse, therapy aide, grandparent, college student in nursing/education, a senior in high school (must be 18), or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Looking for 2 part time employees or possibly 1 full time.
Hours would include afterschool and weekends, as the boys as school age.
This position is paid through the Texas PCS program. Background check required. Reliable transportation and dependability are essential, as I am outnumbered and tired.
Pay: $14.60 - $16.40 per hour
