Tile & Stone Sales Representative

Job Title: Tile and Stone Sales

Full Time

Monday - Friday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Saturdays: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on a rotational basis

Pay $20-$24 Hourly Commission

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Tile and Stone Sales Representative to join us at In Home Stone. This full-time, base plus commission-based role combines sales expertise with design insight, guiding homeowners, designers, and contractors through the tile and stone selection process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage projects from product selection to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design customized tile and stone elements for home projects.

-Assess client needs and preferences, provide expert design guidance, and ensure that selections align with the overall project vision.

-Review and interpret client design plans and/or architectural blueprints to develop tailored recommendations based on project needs.

-Stay informed on industry trends, new materials, and emerging design innovations.

-Manage the sales process by finalizing product selections, confirming availability based on project schedules, submitting and tracking purchase orders, receiving and coordinating delivery or pickup of project materials.

-Conduct occasional on-site measurements either alone or in coordination with client installers and/or project managers to ensure accurate material estimates.

· Open to learning and growing independently and from feedback

· A good eye for design, with an understanding of styles, colors, and textures.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Proficient in QuickBooks, Moraware, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Prior experience in stone, flooring, or home design sales.

· Familiarity with interior design trends, materials, and finishes.

· Experience reading or understanding basic design plans, blueprints, or layouts.

·Employees must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
