What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time LPN position at IN HOME SOLUTIONS?
We are seeking a caring and knowledgeable Home Care Nurse to help care for our senior and disabled population. Must have a valid nursing license and reliable transportation. The right candidate will have experience in providing physical comfort, emotional support and health education. This position requires a self-starter who displays knowledge of computer processes and is able to initiate and manage their schedule independently on a weekly basis. The home care nurse will be paid per visit and will be provided a mileage reimbursement. Please contact with any questions.
The home care nurse’s responsibilities are as follows:
- traveling to clients homes to complete visits
- monitoring health conditions and providing education
- evaluating plans of care
- monitoring home safety
- setting up medications
- administer injections and drawing labs as needed
- monitoring of skin integrity
- nail care and foot inspection
- communicating with physicians and other providers within the community to provide continuity
- assisting the client in navigating the health care system
- supervision of home care attendants and education for field staff
