What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time LPN position at IN HOME SOLUTIONS?
We are seeking a caring and knowledgeable Home Care Nurse to help care for our senior and disabled population. The right candidate will have experience in providing physical comfort, emotional support and health education. This position requires a self starter who displays knowledge of computer processes and is able to initiate and manage their schedule independently on a weekly basis. The home care nurse will be paid per visit and will be provided a mileage reimbursement. Please contact with any questions.
The home care nurse’s responsibilities are as follows:
- traveling to clients homes to complete visits
- monitoring health conditions and providing education
- evaluating plans of care
- monitoring home safety
- setting up medications
- administer injections and drawing labs as needed
- monitoring of skin integrity
- nail care and foot inspection
- communicating with physicians and other providers within the community to provide continuity
- assisting the client in navigating the health care system
- supervision of home care attendants and education for field staff
Must have a valid nursing license and reliable transportation.
