Role Description
This is a full-time/part-time/as needed on-site position for a Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver located in Las Vegas, NV. The PCA will support clients with daily personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments and errands. Building strong, trust-based relationships and providing emotional support are key aspects of this role. The PCA will also assist in maintaining a safe, clean living environment to promote clients' overall well-being and independence.
Qualifications
- Experience in providing Personal Care Services, including assisting with hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
- Proficient Communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.
- Certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or relevant caregiving experience preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a commitment to high-quality care.
- Basic knowledge of home safety, health monitoring, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to work independently and follow directed care plans.
