We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)/Caregivers for Hourly
cases, to join our team (Potential for Immediate Hire). As a PCA/Caregiver, you will provide essential care
and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
General Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding and perform light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or social activities.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individuality in all interactions.
- Engage in specialized care for individuals with specific needs such as dementia, disabilities, others.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and assist in medication reminder.
Additional Notes:
- Caregiver responsibilities are subject to change and dependent on each client case.
Skills
- Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response techniques.
- Familiarity with home community care principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality patient care while maintaining respect for resident rights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred
- Ability to lift and move clients as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
