About Me
I’m a quadriplegic male in my mid‑40s looking for a reliable, down‑to‑earth caregiver to help with daily routines in my home. This is a one‑on‑one role in a calm, respectful environment — no agency, no corporate feel. Just real support from someone who cares.
What You’ll Help With
- Personal Care: Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and general hygiene.
- Mobility Support: Safe transfers, repositioning, and assistance with wheelchair use.
- Home Support: Light cleaning, laundry, organizing, taking out garbage, and keeping the space safe and comfortable.
- Companionship: Conversation, company, and engaging in simple activities or hobbies.
- Daily Notes: Noting any changes in skin integrity, issues you may see, so we can stay on top of things.
Schedule & Availability
Scheduling is based on daily needs, with the primary times being:
- Early mornings (Weekdays 5:45 AM, Weekends 7 AM)
- Lunchtime
- Afternoon (Around 4 PM)
- Bedtime (Around 9:30 PM)
If you’re flexible and comfortable working around these key times, that’s a big plus.
Who I’m Looking For
- Someone kind, patient, and dependable.
- Comfortable with hands‑on personal care and safe transfers.
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly.
- Experience is helpful but not required — attitude matters more.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

This is a private home with my spouse — relaxed, steady, and respectful. The pace is manageable, and the goal is simply to keep daily life running smoothly and comfortably.
