Responsibilities
- Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using tools like a safety waist belt when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation
- Follow detailed care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure personalized patient care and safety
Experience
- Experience assisting with ADLs for individuals with memory impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for client safety and mobility assistance
