Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap routines for infants and toddlers in accordance with care plans
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies
- Ensure the safety of all children by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with lead teachers and caregivers to plan educational activities aligned with childhood development principles
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's daily experiences and progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that supports early childhood education standards
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices and childhood development milestones
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to working with individuals with disabilities are a plus
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in classroom or daycare settings
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and caregivers

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
