Job Summary
Position is Full Time or Part Time, days needed Mon Sat and Sun, 8-5. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support to a female adult with special needs. Duties
- Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to support the resident’s daily needs.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication administration, and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals.
- Support resident engagement through companionship and communication, fostering emotional well-being and social interaction
- Administer medications following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
Experience
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or neurodevelopmental disorders is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and following detailed care plans.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in manual handling or patient transfer methods is advantageous.
- Experience working within home health settings or providing home & community care services aligns well with this role.
