What are the responsibilities and job description for the Young Toddler Teacher position at In Good Hand's LLC?
We are looking for a caring, patient, and energetic Young Toddler Teacher to support children during one of the most important stages of early development. The ideal candidate understands toddler behavior, encourages exploration, and creates a safe, loving environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and physically.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care and supervision for young toddlers
- Plan simple, age-appropriate activities that promote development
- Support language, motor, and social skill growth
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Follow feeding, diapering, and nap routines
- Encourage positive behavior and gentle guidance
- Communicate daily with families about their child’s day
- Follow center policies and state licensing standards
- Work collaboratively with classroom staff
Qualifications:
- Experience working with toddlers preferred
- Understanding of early childhood development
- Patient, nurturing, and dependable
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift and actively engage with toddlers
- Required background clearances
