Established Local bookkeeping company in Sylvania Ohio is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a part-time to possible full-time position in our small business with a comfortable work environment. Competitive pay and Simple IRA offered.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 Years pervious bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in Quick-Books – online and desk top versions.
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
- Proficient in data entry.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to maintain confidential client information.
- Able to work 24 - 32 Hours per week to start.
- Complete a background check and provide references.
Functions Include:
- General bookkeeping for various companies.
- Enter bills, checks and payroll.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Process and pay CAT and Sales Tax.
- Prepare journal entries as needed.
- Assist other team members with projects.
