Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Syracuse, NY, for an Architectural Job Captain. The Architectural Job Captain will be responsible for coordinating project tasks, preparing detailed architectural drawings and specifications, working closely with project managers and designers, and ensuring seamless communication across project teams. The role involves overseeing the technical aspects of projects, resolving design issues, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. Collaboration with clients and consultants to achieve project goals will be day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

5 Years of professional experience

• Understands how to create detailed architectural drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in design software and tools such as Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong project coordination abilities and experience with overseeing technical aspects of projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, consultants, and project teams
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Pathway onto professional licensure is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
• Solid team contributor that is flexible and exhibits efficient time management skills.
