The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various fitness disciplines and have the ability to inspire participants of all fitness levels.
Breakdown -
- Design and deliver small group fitness classes, including but not limited to Pilates, Step, Strength, Barre, Yoga.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and body mechanics to ensure participant safety and effectiveness.
- Provide modifications for various fitness levels to accommodate all participants.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and builds community among members.
- Monitor participants' progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their fitness goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness area before, during, and after classes.
- Stay updated on current fitness trends and continuously enhance your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and program design.
Experience -
- Previous experience as a Group Fitness Instructor or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design is essential.
- Certification in group fitness instruction or related fields.
- Experience in teaching various formats such as Pilates, yoga, sculpt, step or dance is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate individuals in a group setting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week
Work Location: In person
