Position Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated and driven Composites Sales Specialist to support new business development and expand existing customer relationships. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role ideal for someone who understands composite materials and thrives in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, managing RFQs, setting up samples and standard order material shipments, and converting prospects into long-term customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of OEMs, molders, fabricators, and distributors
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries
- Respond to RFQs with competitive pricing and technical alignment
- Build strong relationships with procurement, engineering, and operations teams
- Promote Imsent’s full material portfolio:
- Carbon fiber (tow, fabrics, multiaxial, UD)
- Fiberglass, aramid, basalt reinforcements
- Core materials (PET, infusion cores, core mats)
- Resins and process materials
- Vacuum infusion consumables
- Coordinate with global supply partners on pricing, lead times, and technical specs
- Provide sample support and product recommendations
- Track activity and manage opportunities within CRM (Zoho)
- Represent Imsent at trade shows and industry events as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of outbound sales, business development, or account management experience (composites or technical materials preferred)
- Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes (preferred but not required)
- Experience selling into industries such as aerospace, marine, automotive, renewable energy or industrial manufacturing
- Ability to manage technical conversations with customers in-person, over-the-phone, and via email.
- Strong organizational, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Experience working within a CRM system (experience with Zoho CRM is a plus)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Email
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required (English/Spanish)
