Job Overview

As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods. Duties

• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process.
• Load and unload items safely and efficiently from trucks or storage units.
• Operate box trucks and other vehicles for transportation of goods.
• Navigate delivery routes while adhering to safety regulations.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of various items, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy or bulky items.
• Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service is preferred to ensure client satisfaction.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly with loading/unloading tasks.
• Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license is required; familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Experience as a delivery driver or courier is beneficial for route navigation skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
