What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stand Up Forklift Operator position at IMS People?
Title: Stand Up Forklift Operator
Location: Aurora, IL 60502
Shift: 2nd Shift hours - 2PM - 10PM (Mon - Fri)
Operator will be required to drive a Stand-up Forklift similar to Raymond or Crown, operate a Cherry Picker, Turret, Hand Jack and other equipment as required to provide the support help needed to run their department in the most efficient and economical manner. Will be required to, but not limited to, transporting, storing, retrieving, identifying, sorting, stacking, auditing, locating parts and supplies.
Your key responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently put-away or pick material
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
- Participate in team/safety meetings.
- Maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the facility through the 5s methodology.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Ability to operate a computers and scanners.
- Demonstrate ability to interact and communicate well within all levels of the organization.
- Capable of handling multiple task at once.
- Demonstrate ability to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands.
- Detailed/results oriented.
- 1-2 years experience in warehouse.
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry out simple instructions from oral or written communications.
Physical requirements:
- Bending, pushing, and lifting > 30 pounds
- Available working in cold and hot environment
- GED's are preferred but not a requirement.
