Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed laboratory analyses using established techniques such as microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other specialized procedures to support research and quality control efforts.
- Maintain meticulous records of experiments, data collection, and results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to ensure traceability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP), FDA regulations, and other industry standards.
- Prepare samples for testing, including handling biological specimens with veterinary terminology awareness and ensuring proper sample storage and disposal.
- Support research & development projects by executing experimental protocols, analyzing data, and assisting in method development or validation activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to microbiology, animal physiology, and other laboratory disciplines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scientific research initiatives, providing technical support and insights to optimize laboratory procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within an industrial or clinical laboratory setting with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets using mathematical principles and scientific reasoning.
- Experience with research laboratories or clinical laboratories involving scientific research projects or product development.
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly and precisely.
