Data Engineer with DB2
New York, NY- Hybrid
12 months contract
 
  • DB2 database expertise and DB2 development experience not a DB2 maintenance person  (8 years)
  • Ability to think through issues like a DBA
  • Deep experience in SQL performance tuning experience on DB2 (6 years)
  • Understanding, developing and refactoring stored procedures on DB2 to DB2 SQL (6 years)
  • Identifying stored procedures that can be extracted and programmed in Scala or a similar programming language (4 years)
  • Exposure and hands-on understanding of Snowflake warehouses and Snowflake SQL tuning (2 years)
  • Scala development to re-write existing Stored Procedures in Scala (4 years)
