The Impulsive Group is seeking an experienced and service-driven Director of Rooms to oversee Rooms Division operations at one of our South Florida hotel properties.
This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences while overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and overall room operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
• Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services operations
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop department leaders and team members
• Drive guest satisfaction and effectively resolve guest concerns
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies
• Monitor labor costs, scheduling, productivity, and departmental expenses
• Partner with hotel leadership to achieve operational and financial goals
• Analyze guest feedback and implement service improvements
• Maintain a positive, guest-focused culture throughout the property
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of hotel leadership experience in Rooms Division, Front Office, Housekeeping, or a related role
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards
• Marriott experience preferred
• Proven leadership and team development skills
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
