Our clinic also offers speech therapy services for adults who have cognitive and communication impairments and occupational hand therapy services.
Our company is searching for a physical therapist to join our team on a part-time basis with opportunity to grow to a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and planning a treatment program that benefits patients with physical disabilities as well as geriatric patients. The right candidate will show expertise in physical rehabilitation medicine and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Apply body mechanics to safe exercise planning for patients.
- Screen for signs of emotional and mental distress in patients.
- Communicate with insurance companies on patients' care.
- Provide general health care for patients.
- Provide emotional support for patients and families.
- Be able to explain treatment options and coordinate with other practitioners.
- Provide rehabilitative care for patients.
Requirements:
- Licensed in the State of Illinois (or eligible for licensure).
- Graduated from a Physical Therapy curriculum accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association and current PT license in Illinois.
- At least Two (2) years of clinical experience as an physical therapist in the outpatient setting. (Preferred)
- Experience in treating neurological and/or orthopedic conditions
- Ability to work independently in outpatient setting.
- Communicates professionally both verbally and through written reports.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates good time management and self-organization skills.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
