Responsibilities
- Perform detailed diagnostics using automotive and powersports-specific tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various powersports vehicles, including engine work, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to ensure safety standards are met before returning them to customers.
- Assist with vehicle assembly, upgrades, and modifications based on customer requests or dealership specifications.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and recommending maintenance tips to clients.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background in powersports or automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and suspension systems.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience in brake repair, vehicle assembly, automotive diagnostics, and general mechanical troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety protocols is essential.
