People Operations Associate

To help achieve our ambitious growth goals, we are hiring a People Operations Associate to help us scale our team during a critical time at the company. This is a ground-breaking opportunity for someone eager to deepen their talent acquisition and sourcing expertise and gain valuable experience in HR operations.

The person who succeeds in this role will:

• Think and operate like a business partner, not just a process manager. Recruiting activity will be linked to company goals.
• Have a competitive mindset and will be energized by the challenge to balance quality of hire with time-to-fill.
• Have an astute eye for process improvement, efficient operations, and candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct full-cycle recruiting process across multiple roles (technical, customer success, and business operations).
• Partner with hiring managers to craft job descriptions, interview plans, and candidate profiles.
• Source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and creative strategies.
• Screen candidates for qualifications, cultural alignment, and role fit.
• Coordinate and support interview scheduling, debriefs, and candidate communications.
• Track recruiting metrics and report progress to leadership.
• Own employer branding, including a clear employee value proposition and a consistent, compelling candidate experience.
• Maintain an active, positive, effective LinkedIn presence, posting regularly, engaging with candidates, and elevating the company voice.
• Contribute to HR projects (e.g., onboarding, employee engagement, compliance documentation) as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an in-house recruiter with a focus on sourcing candidates for software or technical roles.
• Proven startup experience; builds lightweight processes, iterates quickly, and comfortably wears multiple hats across recruiting, employer branding, and people ops.
• Self-starter with a bias to action and ownership; mission-driven, resilient, and maintains high standards through changing priorities and sprint cycles
• Ability to proactively identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates across diverse roles and functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust, and influence outcomes with candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining quality, meeting deadlines, and ensuring smooth interview processes.
• Deep understanding of people operations and the function’s impact on business outcomes; drive to meet and exceed performance metrics; strategic thinking about talent needs.
• Adaptability, receptiveness to feedback, continuous learning orientation, and alignment with company mission and values.
