Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage and optimize inventory levels, oversee warehouse distribution processes, and utilize data analytics tools to improve supply chain efficiency. Duties
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using proprietary CRM
- Coordinate with work crews to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships, ensuring timely stock replenishment.
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement process improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Utilize data mining and visualization tools like Power BI to analyze supply chain data and identify trends or issues.
- Oversee shipping & receiving operations, including materials handling, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination with 3PL providers.
- Perform demand planning and stock forecasting using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to optimize inventory turnover.
- Lead category management initiatives to streamline stocking strategies and enhance merchandising effectiveness.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, warehouse distribution, and inventory control principles.
- Proficiency or prior experience in using CRM software
- Experience with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
- Skilled in process improvement methodologies such as root cause analysis and demand planning.
- Excellent data collection, analysis skills, and financial modeling capabilities for inventory valuation and pricing strategies.
- Effective negotiation skills coupled with a solid understanding of logistics, shipping & receiving, and retail management practices.
