What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist position at Impressions Pediatric Therapy?
Impressions Pediatric Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to lead and support pediatric social skills groups on Saturdays alongside a Speech-Language Pathologist. This is a fun, collaborative role for a therapist who enjoys working with children in group settings and helping them build confidence, communication, emotional regulation, and peer interaction skills.
Schedule
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- 3 social skills groups each Saturday
- Groups consist of approximately 3–6 children per group
- Social Skills activities developed and included
Responsibilities
- Co-lead structured pediatric social skills groups with a Speech Therapist
- Facilitate activities targeting:
- Social interaction
- Emotional regulation
- Executive functioning
- Sensory regulation
- Play skills
- Peer engagement
- Support children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and related developmental needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and caregivers
- Complete concise documentation following sessions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $63.00 per hour
