Job Position - Automotive Tech, Parts Puller, "Dismantler" :

We are a full service salvage yard based here in Hazelwood, Missouri. Seeking a self motivated, mechanically inclined person with personal or professional mechanical know how. This is a skilled position that will require minimal guidance to perform your daily duties. This position will test your skills on a daily basis. You will also be required to know how to quickly and safely work on all makes and models of vehicles. Mechanical inclination with the ability to appropriately identify the necessary tools to complete the job is a must. We all know taking cars apart is the best part of working on them! If you're a car guy with lots of random knowledge about differences in vehicles year breaks, trim types and engine sizes this is a car guy haven for you.

You will work in doors, in a heated Shop. With a designated lift for removing engines, transmission and medium sized parts; you will be required to be able to lift up to 70lbs and remove parts on a daily basis. A personal bay (with lift) will be provided with basic tools for dismantling. We encourage you to provide your own tools.

This is a VERY technical position that is always evolving. A willingness to learn is required, but we're all car guys so it comes second nature for us. What to pull will be a teachable process so patience is a must. A sharp memory is key as there are many differences in year, make, model of vehicles we encounter on a daily basis.

Requirements/Experience:
-Know how to wrench. Some diagnosis and critical thinking skills are used in this position.
-Tools.
-Reliable transportation
-Clean driving record

-Automotive background

-Dealer / Independent Technician experience would be a bonus

Details: This is a full time, 30 - 40hr a week position.

8-4 Monday-Friday

No weekends. No nights. Most major holidays off.

Our business is located at: 7373 Hazelwood Ave, Hazelwood MO 63042.
