Import Automotive Professionals is a growing independent repair facility specializing in Subaru, Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia, Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, and Mini. We are looking for a well-rounded technician who takes pride in doing the job right the first time and enjoys working as part of a professional team.
What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance services including oil changes and scheduled maintenance.
- Complete thorough courtesy/digital vehicle inspections on every vehicle.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, cooling, and electrical systems.
- Perform basic to intermediate drivability and electrical diagnostics.
- Accurately document repairs and recommendations.
- Take clear photos and write detailed stories for Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) so customers understand what their vehicle needs.
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work alongside teammates to provide an outstanding customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of maintenance and repair procedures.
- Experience with engine and transmission replacement is a plus.
- Comfortable performing diagnostic work and using scan tools.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Valid driver's license.
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
