DocUpdate is building the digital front door for physician workflows—connecting pharma, clinical insights, and real-world care through a single, trusted platform. Focused on depth, credibility, and repeat engagement, we are redefining how physicians interact with content and opportunities across healthcare.
We are seeking a Director of Physician Engagement & Insights to own and scale our end-to-end physician engagement engine. This role is responsible for designing and building programs that drive meaningful participation, sustained behavior, and monetizable insights that advance healthcare outcomes. Operating at the intersection of physician psychology, product experience, pharma commercialization, and healthcare innovation, this is a true builder role. You will create and optimize a durable engagement flywheel—developing experiences and strategies that deepen trust, increase repeat engagement, and unlock long-term value.

Responsibilities
Build the Physician Engagement Flywheel
- Design and scale programs that drive repeat physician participation
- Optimize response rates, depth, and longitudinal engagement
- Convert one-time interactions into ongoing platform behavior
- Develop DocUpdate's insights strategy
- Design high-performing engagements, incentives, and targeting
- Deliver high-quality, actionable, and seamless outputs
- Build a scalable advisory board network to provide meaningful opportunities to HCPs such as roundtables and peer discussions
- Create differentiated physician experiences
- Define how physicians interact with content across our partner network
- Turn content into engagement loops, signals, and actions
- Connect engagement to commercial outcomes: Drive interaction → engagement → dependency
- 5–10 years in physician engagement, insights, or pharma programs
- Track record of driving HCP engagement
- Deep understanding of physician behavior
- Strong HCP engagement design skills
- Ability to build repeatable systems
- Product intuition around UX and incentives
- Builder mentality with ownership
- Curious, analytical, behavior-driven

Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
