Position Overview:
My client is seeking a Project Executive to lead major projects, including a ground-up, $90M, multi-building project including a residence hall, structured parking, and mixed-use components. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing large, complex vertical construction projects and driving successful outcomes for institutional or higher-ed clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational oversight while managing and mentoring a growing division.
- Build and leverage strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Drive proactive planning, scheduling, and risk management in alignment with the company’s process-driven delivery model.
- Oversee financial performance, cost control, contract compliance, and reporting.
- Champion safety and quality initiatives across all project operations.
- Represent the project in presentations, meetings, and executive updates.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of lead project management/construction experience within commercial or institutional construction.
- Proven ability to independently lead large projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Experience in Higher Education, Residential, Mixed-Use, or related vertical markets preferred.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
