Senior Project Manager

I am currently shortlisting experienced Project Executives based in the Central Florida region for a well-established, nationally recognised general contractor with a strong presence across the Southeast and a long history of delivering high-profile, complex projects.

Position Overview:

My client is seeking a Project Executive to lead major projects, including a ground-up, $90M, multi-building project including a residence hall, structured parking, and mixed-use components. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing large, complex vertical construction projects and driving successful outcomes for institutional or higher-ed clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational oversight while managing and mentoring a growing division.
• Build and leverage strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Drive proactive planning, scheduling, and risk management in alignment with the company’s process-driven delivery model.
• Oversee financial performance, cost control, contract compliance, and reporting.
• Champion safety and quality initiatives across all project operations.
• Represent the project in presentations, meetings, and executive updates.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of lead project management/construction experience within commercial or institutional construction.
• Proven ability to independently lead large projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Experience in Higher Education, Residential, Mixed-Use, or related vertical markets preferred.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
