Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers—assisting with public notices, newspaper subscriptions, and classified advertising. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage public notice advertisements with accuracy and timeliness
- Assist customers with starting, updating, or resolving newspaper subscriptions
- Support customers with placing and editing classified ads
- Provide in-office, phone, and email customer service
- Handle payments and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills (data entry, email, office systems)
- Professional, positive attitude and dependable work ethic
