SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Report to service calls in a timely manner and provide exceptional service to the company’s customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional duties which are necessary to carry out the function of the Service Technician may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job description.
- Report to service calls assigned by the dispatchers or department heads;
- Report to locations in ample time to ensure quality service;
- Repair any equipment on location that is in a malfunctioning state to his/her best ability;
- Report any un-repairable equipment to the supervisor on hand prior to leaving the premises of the location being serviced;
- Keeping car stock current and replenishing stock when used;
- Documenting all information needed on provided service slips to insure completion of service calls on the following visit;
- Provide quality service to customers in the form of repairs, cash advances, and payout discrepancies;
- Responsible for customer contact, as necessary, for unresolved problems;
- Responsible for documenting service calls and mileage for reimbursement;
- Recording all information needed on parts turned in for repair accompanied by a service repair form;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands of this job include light physical activity performing sometimes-repetitive activities of an administrative, productive and/or technical nature that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. In order to perform the functions of this job the employee must regularly sit, talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee must occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and reach with hands and arms. The employees must regularly lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to drive from location to location thus exposing him/her to different weather conditions at said day. While not commuting the employee will be in the bar/restaurant atmosphere. Noise level of the work environment is moderate to loud based on the customer location business model... i.e. restaurants, bars, nightclubs etc.
