JOB SUMMARY:
Business Development Manager position in the convenience store wholesale industry is responsible for building incremental and profitable sales by expanding current customer base through prospecting and securing new customers.
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required to succeed in this outside business development position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Increase current customer base - identify, penetrate, qualify, and close potential customers by presenting business proposals and negotiating price of goods.
- Achieve performance objectives as outlined by the company.
- Responsible for developing good rapport with key decision makers within the organization of potential new customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High school diploma or higher education. Food service sales experience is helpful.
Professional Skills:
- Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Outlook.
