- Develop, automate, and refine financial tools and deliverables for Finance and cross-functional teams
- Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Provide KPI analysis and decision support to functional leaders, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Analyze and present monthly results, offering insights to improve business performance
- Lead efforts around planning cycles, including the annual operating plan and forecasts
- Partner with Grainger’s Specialty Brand Finance teams to exchange best practices and enhance impact
- Influence senior leadership through presentations and recommendations based on data-driven insights
- Apply a controllership mindset to ensure accuracy, transparency, and operational impact of financial decisions
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business (required)
- Experience: 3 years in financial or analytical roles, ideally with exposure to FP&A or business analysis
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, formulas, modeling)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills through data
- Experience with large datasets; SQL a strong plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Occasional travel as required
