Key Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to produce system requirement documentation for systems with average to high complexity.
- Works to leverage existing systems and processes whenever possible while educating the business leaders. Create a baseline for process improvements and design of future processes through effective documentation and communication, designed for presentation to key stakeholders.
- Defines, performs, and documents complex functional configurations, illustrating processes with flowchart-like diagrams, easily understood by both IT and business managers.
- Writes stories/requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure integrity across business unit. Responsible for maintaining use cases.
- Identifies opportunities in existing business processes which may require building logical data model for re-use and sharing, as well as providing a common understanding of business data elements and requirements.
- Assists in providing insight on backlog, prioritization, and additional potential opportunities.
- Helps to define business value for key activities or features. Shares Business Value (BV) with teams and stakeholders.
- Works with business partners to design, develop, and execute user acceptance testing plans.
- In collaboration with the training department, creates new training materials. Identifies need and integrates collaboration of cross functional training materials.
- Assists in preparing communications to both inform and request action associated with delivering new capabilities and address problems.
- Provides coaching, training, and problem-solving assistance to other analysts.
