Water Restoration Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Water Remediation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing water damage restoration services to residential and commercial properties. The Water Remediation Technician will work with a team to ensure quick, effective, and high-quality remediation of water-related issues, including water extraction, drying, and mold remediation.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency service calls for water damage and related issues.
• Perform water extraction and drying procedures to restore properties.
• Operate specialized equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and water extractors.
• Assess damage and create mitigation plans to restore properties to pre-damage conditions.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment for effectiveness.
• Ensure proper documentation of work performed and communicate with clients regarding the progress of remediation.
• Assist in mold remediation and other restoration services as required.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness during remediation processes.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in water damage restoration (IICRC) are a plus.
• Previous experience in water damage restoration, flood damage, or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment, including heavy items up to 50 lbs or more.
• Willingness to work in varying conditions and sometimes on tight deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
