Job Description:

We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented individuals to fill the role of Customer Service Representative in the Indianapolis area. The Inside Customer Service Representative provides exceptional support to customers and branch operations through order entry, product knowledge, and efficient communication. This role is responsible for processing sales orders, assisting customers in person and over the phone, and maintaining a positive, organized, and professional work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders over the phone, via email and via fax utilizing CRM system.
• Interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Provide accurate product information, pricing, and recommendations to customers.
• Create sales orders and detailed quotes to estimate project costs and material quantities.
• Assist in scheduling deliveries efficiently and ensure clear communication between branch staff, drivers, and customers.
• Support Branch Manager and Assistant Manager in building and maintaining lasting customer relationships.
• Help coordinate paperwork and order documentation for customers and drivers.
• Receive and process small package deliveries (UPS/FedEx) and update purchase orders as needed.
• Assist with order accuracy checks, order picking/staging, shipping, and receiving.
• Assist with payments, returns, and credits.
• Learn and stay up to date on the company’s full range of products and services.
• Attend seasonal or winter training sessions to stay informed on new products and services.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with restocking or replenishment tasks.
• Step in to assist coworkers and customers whenever needed to ensure a smooth branch operation.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or professional development preferred.
• 1 years of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in wholesale, distribution, or retail.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
• Computer proficiency and internet use required; experience with Microsoft Office and Profit 21 software preferred.
• Prior experience with pools is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak seasonal periods.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
