What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Systems & Application Specialist II position at Imperial Irrigation District?
Under general supervision, plans and coordinates the repair, support and maintenance of the district SCADA/AGC distributed energy management system (EMS) computer system, software and hardware additions and improvements; prepares system administration records in accordance with NERC, FERC, WECC and other regulatory compliance agencies; and provides technical staff assistance. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree with a major in computer science, computer information systems, electrical engineering, or related degree and five years' experience in Linux, relational database management systems, SCADA EMS, computer systems design and architecture, maintenance and applications, programming, electronic data handling and storage.
