Purpose of Role
As Imperial Industries continues to expand into new markets and verticals, we need a dedicated Marketing & Events Coordinator to support brand-building, lead generation, and customer engagement efforts. This entry-level role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a passion for storytelling and logistics. You’ll help drive Imperial’s reputation as a trusted partner and category leader across both the Industrial and Commercial divisions.
Key Responsibilities
Content Marketing
- Manage and execute the editorial calendar across digital platforms (Imperial’s website, social channels, internal communications, and truck inventory listings)
- Collaborate with internal teams—including engineering, sales, and operations—to source and develop customer-centric stories, case studies, and product messaging
- Ensure all content reflects Imperial’s brand voice: confident, trusted, and real
Event Planning & Coordination
- Plan and execute internal and external events from start to finish, including trade shows, customer appreciation events, plant tours, and team celebrations
- Coordinate logistics: booth setup, materials, registration, scheduling, and on-site support
- Partner with sales to support pre/post-show campaigns, lead capture tools, and CRM data entry workflows
Marketing Operations
- Assist with CRM data entry and maintenance, support lead-capture workflows pre/post events, help sales team with campaign logistics and reporting
- Coordinate with sales to ensure marketing activities (content, events) are aligned with sales pipelines and operational systems, helping close the loop on lead-to-sales conversion
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination (internships count!)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for turning technical input into clear, compelling messages
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines across content, events, and operations
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn—collaborates well across departments and levels
- Familiar with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Express) for basic design needs
- Comfortable with video and photo editing tools (Premiere Pro, Lightroom)—able to create and edit light multimedia content for web, social, and event use
- Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot is a plus, especially for supporting lead tracking and campaign follow-up workflows
