Job Summary:
Responsible for managing all aspects of environmental, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other safety/environmental regulations.
- Lead safety training, audits, and hazard assessments to promote a safe work environment.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage chemical inventory and maintain accurate environmental records.
- Oversee Workers’ Compensation claims and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications (Required)
- At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
- High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)
- 1-3 years in EHS related position
Job Qualifications (Preferred):
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred (all locations)
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, OSHA 511, or OSHA 501
- Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
Physical Requirements of the Job:
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
- Able to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per day
- Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
- Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
- Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
- Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
- Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
- Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
