We are seeking a motivated, experienced CDL Class A driver with van, roll-off, and lugger experience to join the trucking team at our Chicago, IL facility. You’ll be off every weekend and on all major holidays, with pay.
Position Overview
The Driver operates various commercial vehicle and container combinations between company and customer facilities, terminals, yards, and work sites. The primary role is to pick up, transport, and deliver freight safely and efficiently. This position reports to the Transportation Manager, with day-to-day direction from the Dispatchers.

- Salary: $67,500 – $70,000 per year, paid the same amount every Friday
- Home time: Off every weekend and all major holidays, with pay

- Freight: Return loads and out-and-back runs
Responsibilities
- Operate van, roll-off, and lugger trucks on assigned routes
- Deliver and pick up containers at customer locations
- Safely load, transport, and unload materials
- Inspect loads and secure materials for safe transport
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery and activity logs
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Report mechanical issues and road incidents to dispatch
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- At least 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug screen, and background check
- Comfortable using handheld technology, including ELDs
