The Warehouse Admin Assistant is a hybrid position that combines warehouse administrative support with hands-on warehouse operations.
You Will
- Provide customer service support to internal and external customers
- Answer and respond to phone calls, voicemails, and emails professionally and promptly
- Enter alphabetic and numeric data accurately using warehouse systems, scanners, and company software
- Generate inbound and shipping documents, labels, reports, and warehouse paperwork
- Maintain databases by entering and updating customer, inventory, and account information
- Collect, organize, scan, and electronically file warehouse documentation
- Audit paperwork, inventory transactions, and shipping records; identify and correct discrepancies
- Operate office equipment including scanners, printers, computers, and communication systems
- Support warehouse leadership with reporting, documentation, and operational coordination
- Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Coordinate communication between the warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams
- Review incoming orders, pick tickets, and shipment documentation
- Pull, stage, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate warehouse equipment, including RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed
- Assist with inbound receiving and outbound shipping processes
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Assist in various daily warehouse operations and special projects
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- 2 years of warehouse, logistics, administrative, or operations experience preferred
- Experience with warehouse systems, inventory management, or RF scanners preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email communication
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift 50 pounds comfortably and unassisted
- Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Forklift equipment certification and the ability to use it daily are required.
- Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
